New Nomination Requirements for the APA California 2022 Awards Program
Beginning this year, there is an important change in APA California’s award program policies: all applicants for the Chapter awards must first receive an award of excellence or merit at the Section level. As such, we encourage you to submit outstanding projects, programs, plans, and people to the Section awards programs.
This policy has the following exceptions: the award is not offered at the Section level; the project is of significance in multiple Sections; or the project is of Statewide significance, in which case it may be submitted directly to the Chapter. The Planning Landmark and Planning Pioneer award categories are not affected by these new requirements. The complete revised policies are available for review on our website.
Projects and programs that receive an award of excellence or merit will be eligible to submit to the Chapter’s 20 awards categories when applications open later this spring.
