Planning practitioners regularly learn from the experiences of other professionals working in varying contexts. Understanding how different professionals approach similar challenges can inspire and improve techniques to address critical issues. Learn from the experiences of several U.S. based planners who grew up outside of the United States and learn about planning in their home countries. Planners from China, Brazil, the Philippines and Haiti. Learn about what constitutes planning in developed and developing countries. Understand what these countries have learned and can learn from the U.S. and what the U.S. can learn from these countries.
