5:30-8:00 PM, Hartnell College, CALL Building Room #208, 411 Central Avenue, SALINAS. Finger food will be served (cheese/crackers). Karen Murray of the San Francisco firm Van Meter Williams Pollack, LLP will address the fundamentals of LEED for Neighborhood Development (ND) and how this system is transforming neighborhoods via the example of the LEED ND Sunnydale HOPE SF Master Plan. The local NCC USGBC chapter will highlight examples of local efforts to make better neighborhoods through Smart Growth and neighborhood focused planning codes. Hosted by Hartnell College Center for Sustainable Design and Construction. Open to the public, but space is limited.
