CAL FIRE and the Community Wildfire Planning Center are providing free trainings in 2024: Introduction to Land Use Planning for Wildfires in California. These all-day, in person trainings are open to planners, fire specialists, building officials, and other professionals from government agencies and the private sector engaged in planning, policy, development review or approval activities in California. Attendees will learn about state requirements in fire hazard areas, wildfire vulnerabilities, and more. Trainings are sponsored by APA California and CMs are available.
