Job Description
Placer County will begin accepting applications for Community Development Technician - Assistant and Associate on May 1, 2025. These positions receive, review, and process a variety of permits in one or more specialized land use areas; perform a variety of research related to the permitting process, land development issues, and County requirements and regulations; and depending on assignment, provide information and explanation to the public by telephone and at the public counter regarding permitting requirements and process and County requirements and regulations. Each level is recruiting for both the Auburn and Tahoe City locations; to participate in the recruitment at the Assistant level, Associate level, or both levels, you must complete and submit separate applications and supplemental questionnaires for each recruitment for each location.
