The City of San Bernardino is seeking a professional planner to supervise, direct and coordinate the City's planning programs and serve as the project manager for large-scale development projects and long-range planning studies requiring coordination among multiple City divisions/departments, other public agencies, and private enterprises.  

The ideal candidate will be a self starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment with a Bachelors degree in planning or a closely related field, and extensive land use planning experience.

Education, Training and Experience:
A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is graduation from four-year college or university with a major in planning or a closely related field; and at least five (5) years of progressively responsible land use planning experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. A master's degree in land use planning or closely related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience.

Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements:
A valid California driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under the City's vehicle insurance policy.

Salary Range: $6,431.00 - $7,817.00 Monthly
